Terms of Service

Welcome to Vlumo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vlumo app and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Vlumo
- You must be at least 17 years old.
- You must provide a valid email and keep your account information accurate.
- One account per person. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
2. What Vlumo is and isn't
Vlumo is a personal lifestyle app to help you organize your schedule, budget, debts, savings, and wellness habits. It is a tool for personal record-keeping and self-reflection only.
Vlumo is not:
- Financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, or medical advice
- A substitute for a certified financial planner, therapist, or doctor
- A bank, lender, investment advisor, or regulated financial institution
- A guarantee of any particular financial outcome
Always consult appropriate professionals for your specific situation.
3. Your content
Everything you enter into Vlumo — events, budgets, goals, notes — belongs to you. We don't claim ownership. We store it only to provide the Service.
You grant us a limited license to store, sync, and display your content strictly to operate the app. We will not use your content for advertising, training models, or anything beyond providing Vlumo to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. If you enter the wrong balance on a debt, that's on you to fix.
4. What you can't do
You agree not to:
- Attempt to break into another user's account
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or try to extract source code (beyond rights granted by open-source licenses if applicable)
- Use Vlumo to harass or harm others
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without written permission
- Resell or repackage Vlumo as your own service
- Use Vlumo for any illegal purpose
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Account security
You're responsible for keeping your password safe. If you suspect your account has been compromised, change your password immediately and email [email protected].
The optional PIN lock in Vlumo is a convenience feature, not a guarantee against a determined attacker with physical access to your device.
6. Service availability
We do our best to keep Vlumo running smoothly, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Sometimes things break, servers go down, or we need to do maintenance. We'll do our best to communicate when something major happens.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We specifically disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
7. Changes
We may update the Service and these Terms over time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Cancellation
You can delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete cloud data, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect immediately. Your data is removed within 30 days.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Vlumo is not liable for:
- Any lost data, even if backed up to our servers
- Any financial decisions you make based on what you see in Vlumo
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you didn't pay us anything.
10. Governing law
